Oria gives you more time to write.
It drafts for you, and you correct the drafts.
The corrected text becomes yours.
Its standout features for writing
Call Oria, even on the go
Oria has its own phone number. Call or text it, and ask what a chapter of your manuscript says. It answers you out loud or by text.
Your manuscript, read in full
Attach your manuscript, and Oria reads all of it, up to 500 pages when it’s set up for one person. It reads a whole book in about 4 minutes, then answers your questions.
Your ideas, written into your manuscript
Say your idea out loud to Oria: “and the flowers were so beautiful, add that to my second book”. Oria puts it where it fits in your manuscript, without changing a word.
Your interviews transcribed
For every minute it works, Oria transcribes 24 minutes of an interview with several speakers, and it shows who is speaking.
A knowledge base for your trade
Oria has a specialised knowledge base for each professional field, built for its needs. It searches there before it answers you, and tells you where each passage comes from.
What Oria does for each profession
Writers, novelists and screenwriters
Dictate your notes, and Oria types them up. Ask it for a text, and it writes you a draft.
Ghostwriters, authors of memoirs and family histories
From your transcribed interviews, Oria writes the draft of the story. Give it your documents and ask for the timeline of a life. One sentence is enough.
Copywriters, bloggers and content creators
Oria writes the draft of the article you ask for. Describe the image you want, and it creates it. It also makes a subtitle file from a recording.
Certified translators, terminologists and interpreters
Give Oria a few words, and it finds your past translations and glossaries. Dictate a glossary, and it turns it into a real table. Before you send your translation, ask for a clean copy, without hidden information.
What the translators’ Order says
In 2024, the Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec (OTTIAQ) published its Position on artificial intelligence in translation. The French version is called Avis de l’OTTIAQ sur l’intelligence artificielle en traduction. The Order writes:
“The translation tools available to the general public operate from servers located outside Canada. Using them to process confidential data or personal information goes against Canadian and Quebec privacy and data protection laws.”
“OTTIAQ welcomes new technology and encourages members to use it to provide the best possible language services.”
The Order asks its members to use these tools as part of a process “which must always include at least one round of quality control by a professional.”
With Oria, your clients’ documents stay on the machine, in the office. And you review every draft.
